A brand new swimming pool and diving centre in Southend-On-Sea, providing a world-class state of the art facility for the Great Britain 2012 Olympic diving team.
Built as a stand alone extention of the existing sports & leisure facility, the new £13.5 million development features three pools comprising of an Olympic standard dive pool with 3m, 5m, 7.5m and 10m diving platforms, three springboards, a moveable floor and a water agitation and air cushion system, an 8 lane 25m long competition swimming pool and a childrens leisure pool.
Elite Tiling carried out all tiling works at the new facility, including all pool tanks, fingergrips and dive blocks, pool hall, wet and dry changing village, 1st floor staircase and lift lobby, showers and Wcs, link corridor to the existing building including main entrance steps, ramp and reception floors.
Screeding and rendering works to pool tanks and pool hall floors were also completed by Elite Tiling Ltd as well as Gratings to perimeter.
All tiling works were completed in 9 months and the new pool opened to the public in November 2010 and welcomed the GB 2012 Olympic diving team for their inaugural event on 3rd december 2010.

Dry Side Corridors, Stairs & Reception: 300 x 300 Compact riven + plinth skirting
All areas fixed & finished with PCI adhesive & grouts and Schluter trims & stair nosings
