October 31st, 2013An extensive refurbishment and modernisation of an existing building in the St. James Conservation Area of Mayfair, London to create 6 storey’s of high specification leasable commercial space for client Standard Life Investments.
Working for main contractor ISG Construction, Elite Tiling carried out natural limestone wall, floor and skirting tiling to the new toilet cores throughout the building, including bespoke templated limestone vanity tops and floor tiling to the newly created glazed reception area, lift lobby and lift cars. Tiling to the reception also included a limestone feature wall. Additional works included the supply & fix of ply & cement board backgrounds, Schluter Ditra matting, ceramic & porcelain wall & floor tiling to the basement WC & showers and mastic pointing to finish all tiled areas.

Elite Tiling Complete Natural Stone Installation to New Standard Life Offices in London’s King St.
October 31st, 2013Elite Tiling have completed a high quality installation of natural stone wall & floor tiling to Standard Life Investment’s new office building at 23 King Street, London SW1.
As part of an extensive refurbishment and reconfiguration of the internal layout of the existing building, Elite Tiling installed Spanish Grey Limestone Wall and Floor Tiles & skirting’s to WC Cores and to the main reception and lift lobby.
Working for main contractor ISG Construction, Elite Tiling also supplied and fitted bespoke Limestone vanity tops to all WCs and mastic works to the finished tiling installation. The project was completed in September 2013.
Elite Tiling Complete New Stratford Square University Campus for Autumn 2013 Student Intake.

Elite Tiling Ltd have completed extensive tiling works to the new state-of-the-art campus at University Square Stratford. A joint venture between the Universities of East London and Birkbeck and situated in Stratford, not far from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the new £33m development has now opened to welcome it’s first student intake for Autumn 2013.
Incorporating a five storey building based around a large light-filled atrium, the new facilty will be home to 3400 students as London’s newest and most modern and well equipped campuses.
Working with main contractor Volker Fitzpatrick, Elite Tiling carried out floor tiling throughout the ground floor reception lobby & atrium area and wall and floor tiling to all WCs.
London School of Economics, 32 Lincoln Inn Fields, London WC2
September 19th, 2013Built in 1903 and formerley owned by the Land Registry, this Grade 2 listed building in Lincoln Inn Fields, London WC2, was purchased by the London School of Economics to house new academic offices and teaching & student activity areas for up to 1000 students.
Working for main contractor Willmott Dixon Interiors, Elite Tiling carried out wall and floor tiling to WCs, Showers and Kitchens/T-Points throughout the refurbished heritage areas of the 7-storey building and installed new porcelain floor tiling to the new atrium Cafe, Servery, Lift Lobbies, Stairs and Break-out areas.
This £11million refurbishment was completed in time for the New Year student intake and was officially opened in January 2013.

New Secured Contract at HMP Winchester for Elite Tiling
September 18th, 2013Elite Tiling are pleased to have been appointed by Lend Lease to carry out all tiling works to the new Kitchen unit at Her Majesty’s Prison in Winchester, Hampshire.
The project marks the first contract awarded to Elite Tiling by Lend Lease and reflects the company’s growing experience of working within the HM Prison environment, complying with the very high security and H&S requirements demanded.
This appointment follows Elite Tiling’s recent success in securing and completing previous Ministry of Justice tiling works at HMP Warren Hill and HMP Highdown for Kier Eastern and HMP Pentinville and HMP Wandsworth both for Vinci Construction.
Works are due to commence at HMP Winchester in October 2013.
Chesterford Research Park Science Village, Cambridgeshire
September 10th, 2013A Brand new and innovative construction of a Science Village facilty based on Chesterford Research Park in Cambridgeshire. Providing approximately 24000 sq ft of new state of the art research and development laboratory and office space. This energy efficient building provides a creative village by accomodating workspace either side of a top lit communication street.
Elite Tiling carried out porcelain floor tiling to all WCs with porcelain mosaic to walls and to T-Point splashbacks and installed natural stone Chinese Granite floor and skirting to the central street, lift cars and stair treads to staircases.
The new facility was officially opened by the The Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science.

Aston Martin Lagonda Heritage Showroom, Newport Pagnall
September 10th, 2013The new Heritage Showroom restoration project at the famous Aston Martin Lagonda site in Newport Pagnell.
Working with main contractor Davlyn Construction, Elite Tiling have installed a wood effect porcelain tile, laid in a staggered bond pattern to the 380m2 showroom floor, as part of a total restoration of the old historic Aston Martin Olympia Building. The new showroom provides space for a display of classic Aston Martin cars and provides a sales facility for special events, conferences and auctions. Originally an aeroplane hangar, the Olympia building is as old as the Aston Martin brand itself and had been more recently used as a body shop for Aston Martin’s automotive restoration team.
Elite Tiling also carried out wall tiling to the Kitchen and mastic pointing to all tiled finishes.
