Elite Tiling have successfully completed the refurbishment of 40 guest bathrooms and shower rooms at the Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, for main contractor Barnes Construction. Wall & floor tiling works also included the installation of two natural pebble mosaic features floors to the main reception and new wall tiling to the restaurant bar. Despite a very tight programme, the contract was completed on time allowing all guest bookings to be successfully fulfilled for the start of the 2010 holiday season.

Elite Tiling have successfully completed Jaguar’s new corporate re-fit at their flag-ship dealership showroom in Berkeley Street, Mayfair. Working closely with Solus Ceramics, the approved supplier of the new floor tile specification and main contractor for the project Ashe Construction, works included removal of existing floor finishes and installation of the new 600 x 600 crema polished porcelain floor tiles.

After a significant review of management systems and company procedures and processes, Elite Tiling have successfully passed a stringent independent audit and secured approved accreditation of the Achilles Building Confidence scheme. To continue Elite Tiling’s continued commitment to Health & Safety, we are very pleased to confirm full accreditation to the Government supported Contractors Health & Safety ‘CHAS’ Assessment Scheme. Following the company’s application in December 2009, Elite Tiling’s inclusion into the scheme was approved and certificated on 1st February 2010, endorsing our excellent attitude and approach to maintaining Health and Safety standards within the tiling and construction industries.

Following commencement of construction of the new £10m, state-of-the-art, 25-metre dive centre and swimming pool complex at Garons Park in Southend, Essex, Main Contractor ISG Jackson have confirmed that the tiling package has been awarded to Elite Tiling Ltd. Tiling works will extend to the 25m dive pool, 8 lane competition swimming pool and the children’s leisure pool, including all changing villages and reception link to the existing sport centre at Garons Park. This new facility has already been selected as a pre-games training camp for the London 2012 Olympic Games and features world-class diving facilities with 3m, 5m, 7.5m and 10m diving platforms. The tiling programme is due to start in April/May 2010 and completion and opening of the new facility is expected at the end of 2010.
