We are pleased to confirm the company’s continued commitment to Health & Safety with the renewal of full accreditation to the Government supported Contractors Health & Safety ‘CHAS’ Assessment Scheme. Following the company’s first accreditation February 2010, this latest renewal represents the 3rd consecutive year as part of the scheme and continues to demonstrate Elite Tiling Ltd’s excellent attitude and forward approach to maintaining Health and Safety standards within the tiling and construction industries.

Elite Tiling have completed tiling works to the new Athletes Polyclinic on the London 2012 Olympic Village site at Stratford. Working for main contractor, Willmott Dixon Construction, works were completed to floors and walls in shower and wet areas throughout the 3 floors of the new complex. The Polyclinic will offer state of the art medical facilities for olympic athletes during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic games and will also act as a community centre where athletes can socialize.

Elite Tiling are proud to confirm that tiling works have started at Tottenham Hotspur FC,s new £45m Training Centre in Enfield. Covering over 67 acres, this new facility includes 11 outdoor pitches, a 2-storey training centre with basement, medical facilities, a hydrotherapy and swimming pool, fitness centre, gym, changing rooms, canteen and media centre. The building has been designed around an artificial pitch which features a transparent ETFE roof, similar to the Eden Project in Cornwall.

Elite Tiling are carrying out an extensive wall and floor tiling program to all areas on behalf of Base Contracts and McLaren Construction. Works are due for completion in summer 2012 in time for the start of the 2012/13 season.

Elite Tiling have completed works to a new £2.5m Sports & Leisure Centre in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire on behalf of RG Carter’s Thetford office. The state of the art facility incorporated extensive wall and floor tiling works to changing rooms, showers, WC’s, kitchens and to the Reception and Juice Bar area.

The centre was opened by Sports and Olympics Minister, Hugh Robertson who said ‘ I spend most of my time travelling up and down the country, visiting sporting facilities and I don’t think that I have seen a new sports facility as good as this for a long long time’. The Grand opening weekend was also attended by footballer, Darren Bent, gymnast Beth Tweddle and Cambourne’s own Paralympian swimmer, Harriet Lee.

Working with Bouygues UK Projects and Eaga Contract Services, Elite Tiling have completed external tiling works as part of a striking new upgrade for Sir John Cass Foundation & Red Coat School in Tower Hamlets, London. Featuring a multicoloured design using 250 x 125 glazed tiles supplied by Johnson Tiles, installation was carried out at high level up to 5 storeys, providing a continuous tiled finish to the full South Elevation, the new Peforming Arts extention and to the new School Entrance on Stepney Way. 

As part of an exciting new housing development area, Elite Tiling have completed a stunning visual external tiling contract for MPG Group and Bouygues UK in Winchelsea Road NW10. This new building comprising of 31 new homes in a 5 storey block, presented us with a challenging high level installation using external scaffolding and cherry picker access to achieve this unique and iconic design for the London Borough of Brent.
