Village De Vere Hotel Elstree

Part of the well renowned De Vere Hotel and Resort chain, this hotel is one of the newest and most modern. Over 2000m2 of tiling works were carried out on this new build project over a wide range of areas, such as WCs, Changing Areas, Pool Surrounds and Lobbies.  As part of our instructed works Elite also tiled the inside of the lift cars and around columns.

Crossways Dartford

Brand new development of 27 office buildings at the Crossways Business Park in Dartford, consisting of the Lakeview East and West Buildings.

Within the 27 offices all WCs were fully tiled along with the receptions of both the East and West buildings.  The Receptions were tiled with a Green Burlington Slate large format tile.

East and West Receptions: 600 x 600 Green Burlington Slate with a 600 x 100 Cut Skirting.
Office Lobby: 500 x 500 Gris Porcelain Floor Tile with a 500 x 90 Skirting Tile.
WC and Shower Floors: 400 x 400 Gris Porcelain Floor Tile with 400 x 90 Skirting Tile.
WC and Shower Walls: 200 x 200 Blanco Ceramic Wall Tile with a feature band of 200 x 50 Mosaico Azul Tiles.

The Venue Swimming Pool

Refurbishment of main & training swimming pools surround floor, including fingergrip
and pool edge tiles. Works consisted of a complete strip-out of existing floor
tiling & mastic movement joints and latex levelling preparation to exposed background.

New replacement tiling was carried out using a Johnson Tiles and Norcros Adhesive specification, including epoxy grout finish;
Pool Hall Floor: Kerastar RT14 Athena 300 x 300 to floors & KER28 Erevos
steptread tiles to diving platforms
Pool Edge: Ivory/Blue fingergrip tiles to pool edges
New mastic movement joints throughout & depth marker tiles were also installed
as per of our contracted works.

University of Greenwich

University of Greenwich – Refurbishment of the ‘Dome’ at the Avery Hill Campus of the prestigious University of Greenwich, London.  The Dome is the main leisure area of the campus, and wall and floor tiling was undertaken to WCs and changing areas at the Gym within the Dome.  Floor tiling was also carried out at the central lobby area situated at the entrance.  PCI Waterproofing Membrane was supplied and fixed by Elite in all wet areas such as showers and gym WCs.

WC Walls: 400 x 400 Silver Natural Ceramic Tiles finished with Schluter Scheine-AE Aluminium Trim.
Changing Room Shower Walls: 600 x 300 Dim grey Natural Ceramic Tiles with PCI Waterproof Membrane; 600 x 150 Satin Terra Maestricht Ceramic tiles.
Staff WC Walls: 200 x 100 Illusion Satin Ceramic Wall Tiles finished with Schluter Scheine AE Aluminium Trim.
WC Floors: 600 x 300 Charco Matt Porcelain Tile finished with Schluter Scheine E Stainless Steel Trim.
Reception Floor: 600 x 300 & 1200 x 600 Dim Grey Porcelain Floor Tiles.
Shower and Changing Floors: 600 x 300 Ash Slate Floor Tile.

P&RTC Colchester Garrison

Construction of new Physical & Recreational Training Centre, incorporating new 25m competition swimming pool and changing village for the Ministry Of Defence at Colchester Garrison.

This project was carried using a full Johnson Tiles / Norcros Adhesive specification for all wall, floor & swimming pool tiling, including installation of a traditional ‘Scum Channel’ overflow system, fixed in sand & cement around the perimeter of the main pool.

Colchester FC Community Stadium

New 10,000 seater stadium for Colchester United Football Club.  Both Home and Away dressing rooms were fully tiled including shower areas and changing areas, along with all WCs and Kitchen areas.  Elite Tiling also performed Tiling works to external areas above the entrance to the reception of the stadium.

Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre

Refurbishment of existing wet & dry changing rooms, showers, WCs and reception and circulation area.

Walls: 300 x 300 glazed ceramic, 200 x 200 glazed ceramic as 50 x 50 scored mosaic in various colours, finished with stainless steel trims.

Floors: 300 x 300, 200 x 200 porcelain anti-slip c/w skirting.

Extensive tiling also carried out to the external entrance steps using 600 x 300 porcelain riven finish treads, risers with Schluter TREP stair nosings.

FA Wembley Stadium

Based at the prestigious Home of Football, Wembley Stadium, this project was the fit-out of the brand new offices for the English Football Association. Floor and Skirting works were undertaken to all WCs, including the England Manager Fabio Capello’s personal office WC & Shower.

Mosaic tiles were also used in each of the shower cubicles within the WCs, and the office reception in which the FA Cup is kept was tiled in a 600 x 600 Polished Porcelain Tile.  Elite Tiling also installed all bespoke 30mm thick Stone Vanity Tops with sink cut-outs to WCs in the reception.

WC & Reception Floors: 600 x 600 Fusion Nero Natural Porcelain Floor Tile; 600 x 150 Skirting Tile Cut from 600 x 600
Kitchenette Floors: 600 x 600 Pietre Reale Blanco Polished Porcelain Floor Tile; 600 x 150 Skirting Cut from 600 x 600
Shower Walls: 25 x 25 Mesh Backed White Ceramic Mosaic Tile.
All Tiles were finished with a Stainless Steel Trim.  Elite Tiling carried out all 15mm Ply installation on this project also.  All polished porcelain tiles were finished with an anti-slip treatment.
