September 5th, 2019Elite Tiling win Cranswick processing plant in Suffolk – Works Completed 2019
August 1st, 2019Elite tiling are proud to announce we have been awarded the contract for the Processing Plant in Suffolk for JH Vaudrey. Covering over 2000 metres of tiling to walls and floors, the project is billed as the largest single investment ever undertaken by Cranswick. As well as the £60m spent on the site, additional investment is planned across the farming and feed-milling infrastructure, taking the total investment relating to the project to around £70m.
The company will employ over 700 people.
The floor tiling consists of 300 x 300 and 200 x 200 tiles and the wall tiles are 600 x 300 with a 300 x 100 border
The project is due to complete by the end of September 2019.
Riverside Ice and Leisure – Works Completed 2019
July 16th, 2019Elite Tiling Limited are proud to announce that we have completed the works for Kier Construction at Riverside ice and leisure.
Started in 2017, Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure centre has undergone a major redevelopment project. Elite Tiling are proud to have been a part of this scheme in our hometown which started in July 2018 and completed June 2019.
Our works included jet blasting, screed, render and tiling to the main swimming pool, along with one teaching pool and a splash pool with flume. We also carried out wall and floor tiling to pool surrounds and wet changing areas, dry changing areas and reception. The scheme included tiles from Spectile Limited and the use of Ardex adhesives & grout.
The new Riverside Leisure Centre opened for the first time on Saturday 8th June: The first swim – Chelmsford Council held a competition in partnership with BBC Essex to find deserving local heroes to become Riverside’s first swimmers.
The official Royal opening was on the Friday 14th June 2019. Opened by HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.

Works have now commenced at NHow Hotel, City Road, London
March 14th, 2019Elite Tiling have started on site at NHow Hotel, London for Willmott Dixon Interiors. We are currently carrying out works to the guest room bathrooms and basement gym. The full scope includes 182 guest rooms, 8 suites, basement gym and changing areas, ground floor bar/restaurant and public WCs. The works are programmed to continue until June 2019.

Works at the centre consisted of:

Works Nearing Completion at 182-184 High Holborn for Collins Construction
December 18th, 2018Elite Tiling are proud to announce that works are nearing completion at 182-184 High Holborn for Collins Construction. Elite Tiling were awarded the contract to complete the tiling works at the 9-floor office building located in Central London and are carrying out tiling to the Basement Shower walls; Ground-7th Floor Core floors and Basement-7th Floor stairs. In the New Year, Elite Tiling will also be carrying out mosaic floor tiling to the Ground Floor entrances of the building.

Tiling Underway at 50-60 Station Road, Cambridge
December 18th, 2018Elite Tiling are delighted with the progress of the tiling works at 50-60 Station Road, Cambridge for Galliford Try.
The scheme will comprise a new high quality office building arranged over 10 floors including some retail accommodation at ground floor. Tiling works include floor tiling to lift cores and WCs to all levels of the building, as well as the ground floor entrance/reception area. Elite Tiling are also carrying out the fixing of an 18mm ply substrate to the WCs.
Works are on course for completion in early 2019.

Riverside Ice and Leisure – Tiling Works Underway As Councillor Lays First Tile

Elite Tiling are pleased to announce that the tiling works are now well underway in the main pool and changing rooms at Riverside Ice and Leisure. The project started in July 2018 and, since then, Elite have successfully completed the Jet Blasting, Screed & Render to the Pool Tanks, along with the Screeding to the Changing Areas.
Following completion of the screed and render to the main pool, the pool wall tiling has now begun. To mark this milestone in the project, the first wall tile was ceremoniously laid by a Councillor at Chelmsford Borough Council alongside Directors from Kier.

Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine – Tiling Completed for Willmott Dixon
October 19th, 2018 
Elite Tiling are proud to announce completion of the tiling works at the Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine, Chelmsford campus. It will be Essex’s first medical school, training the doctors of the future. Construction began in May 2017 on the new £20 million building which features state-of-the-art skills facilities, specialist teaching space, a lecture theatre, simulation rooms and an anatomy suite. The medical school will complement the existing facilities, such as the £3.4 million SuperLab.
Elite Tiling had the pleasure of working alongside the team at Willmott Dixon on this project, with whom we are proud to be a Category A Supply Chain member.
Tiling works included a 300m2 Reception in 600 x 600 tiles along with tiling to 50nr stair treads and risers from the ground up to the second floor including nosing edges.
