Apprentice Estimator Joins Elite Tiling Ltd

Elite Tiling Ltd are proud to announce our new Apprentice Estimator has joined this week.

James Hunter will be taking the Construction in the Built Environment NVQ3 for the next 2 years and  will be fully supported by the Managing Director, Senior Estimator and all at Elite Tiling Ltd.  The course will be part funded by CITB.

James will be supporting the Estimating department with  new enquiry tender documents and drawings, requesting material rates from suppliers and assisting the Estimators to complete  take offs and ensure that tender quotations are submitted in a timely fashion and to a high standard of presentation.

The re stocking of  the office Coffee Machine and keeping the team refreshed is also a key part of James role.

The 28.5 Million refurbishment of The Grafton Cambridge has reached a key milestone with Phase 1 having reached completion

Elite Tiling are thrilled to have completed Phase 1 of the Tiling Works on schedule and carried out on nights working with ISG Retail & Hospitality.

Grafton owner Legal & General Real Assets has also  increased  its investment in The Grafton by approximately £10 million, taking its total investment to £28 million. The additional money will go towards the two remaining phases of the project which involve the reconfiguration of the former BHS unit and the introduction of an exciting new food quarter.

Over 5500m2 of Floor Tiling incorporation an 8 Size Tile Pattern to  the Shopping Mail Floor.

Seven Islands Leisure Centre – Jerram Faulkus

December 1st, 2016

Part of the Southwark Regeneration, the £2m refurbishment for the Seven Islands Leisure Centre includes the Pool Hall Upgrade and  improvements to the Male and Female pool changing areas.

Elite Tiling Ltd carried out preparatory work to the Pool Surround floors with defects made good before applying Ardex De-Greaser & Primer to the existing floor tiles.

New Secured Contract at Herbal House for McLaren Construction

A workspace icon in London, Herbal House is a refurbishment of what was once the Daily Mirror’s headquarters.
Herbal House will be set over 10 floors (from basement to sixth floor) will comprise new office space and nearly 9,000 sq ft of sought after high specification residential space.

With especially limited access and egress the Herbal House project poses significant challenges.  Tiling will commence 06th December including 25m2 Floor Tiling to the Feature Floor around reception desk and Wall & Floor Tiling to the Basement showers and WC’s.

McLaren Construction – Project Dragonfly

Elite Tiling Ltd appointed as the Tiling Contractors for Mclaren Constructions Project Dragonfly in Erith, constructing the new build distribution warehouse for the UK’s only online supermarket, Ocado. The warehouse unit when complete will have 560,000 sq ft of distribution space with offices totalling 27,857 sq ft.
Approx 465m2 of Floor Tiling including skirting to the Main Office, Ground & First Floor Inbound & Outbound & CDH Offices and 225m2 of Wall Tiling.

 

Project Dragonfly
Our Tiling works commenced on site Mid October with a completion due end of November 2016.
